2025 Lake and Park Update

The Heather Lakes community offers a great common grounds for the residents to enjoy. This includes a stocked pond, a paved walking trail, and green space for residents to enjoy.

A few of the recent activities that have occurred are installation of a new entrance sign, the removal of cat tails, spraying for weeds along the path, as well as off of the path, working to eradicate a muskrat problem with newly set traps, and continued maintenance on the aerator and weeds in the pond. Upcoming activities include a drainage project, flower bed cleanup,  and possible over seed of bare spots around the pond. If you would like to help with small activities around the pond, such as picking up sticks or trash please feel free to reach out to Heatherlake.assn.commongrounds@gmail.com. We appreciate all the help that has been given.

Finally, as we know, trespassing can be an issue when it comes to fishing at the pond. Please remember that all guests should be accompanied by a resident. At a minimum, they should be able to contact the resident if needed to prove authorization. Please remember our pond has a catch and release policy.

I love seeing families enjoying this area and I hope that it continues for years to come. If you have any questions, concerns or ideas please feel free to reach out. I would love to hear from you!
